Summary:Fairland Regional Park includes more than 150 acres of parkland that has been developed for recreational use. The Gardens Ice House is also located on this site. The park also includes four lighted softball fields (for reservations, please call 301-446-6800), an imagination playground, and a stormwater management demonstration project area. While the majority of the park resides in Prince George's County, it also extends into the neighboring Montgomery County.
Activities:horseback riding, hiking, biking, swimming, softball, and other activities.
Location:13950 Old Gunpowder Road Laurel, MD 20707 From Interstate 95, take Exit 29 toward Beltsville. At first light, make a left onto Old Gunpowder Road. Follow Old Gunpowder Road for approximately 1.25 miles. Fairland Regional Park is on the left.
Length/Surface:There are 1.4 miles of hard surface trails in the park and more than 3 miles of natural surface trails available for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Natural surface trails allow visitors to experience the undeveloped areas of the park.
