Summary:This 1300-acre, lake-oriented park features the mostly hard-surface 4.3 mile Black Hill Trail, over 10 miles of natural surface trails, and a water trail on Little Seneca Lake. Trails offer spectacular views of the lake, and meander through oak and hickory forests through some of our Best Natural Areas. Historical markers identify former mill sites, and interpret past gold mining history. Unless noted otherwise on the map, trails marked Natural Surface and Hard Surface are Shared by All trails which includes hikers, bikers and equestrians

Location:20930 Lake Ridge Dr Boyds, MD 20841. The park is located in the upper portion of Montgomery County, west of I-270 and north of Germantown, MD.
Length/Surface:The 4.3-mile Black Hill Trail is asphalt surface for most of its length, but the mid-section of the trail is natural surface, and is steep and rocky in sections. The rest of the trails in the park are natural surface. The trail below is about 4.48 miles in length.

Access and Parking:Ample parking is available in the picnic area of the park, along Lake Ridge Drive. A Trail Guide may be obtained at the Visitor Center. Hard surface trail is accessible from Visitor Center and Picnic lane. Trail has gentle inclines.
