|Summary:||Sugarloaf Yellow Trail is a 7.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Dickerson, Maryland that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
A very rocky trail with several steep grades that cuts through a mature oak/hickory forest, including some small American chestnuts. Provides access to White Rocks, a series of cliffs overlooking the Monocacy and Potomac river valleys. Wildlife is abundant, including an occasional black bear.
